About Meg
I am experienced designer and samplemaker with over 30+ years of expereince. My backgroumd is in apparel, accessories, home decor and toys. I have also created patterns for Simplicity and McCall's patterns.
My passion is to teach the tricks of the trade through my experiences.
I enjoy teaching students a skill to create a piece of work to call it their own. Also, to pass the knowledge and skills that I have learned over the years.
I have 30+ years in fashion, home décor and toys. My experience has been designing and creating to the end result of a sewn sample for a product.

I start the student with the basics such as learning how to operate a sewing machine to understanding how to read a pattern. Then the next basics is to how to construct the garment.
I work with children 7-13 and adults.
Look for someone who has a variety of experiences so you will learn a multitude of knowledgable techniques.
