About Maxine
Taking swimming lessons is a fundamental skill I am glad my parents gave me. Swimming is a skill that most of us don't even think about until we need it. Each year there are countless drownings that happen but many of them could have been prevented. Give your child the opportunity to learn a life skill that could save them or someone else in their future.
I love teaching swim because I feel like I am teaching a child to walk... but in the water. When a child learns to swim the smile on their face lights up! Teaching a child to swim also makes me feel great to give a skill to a child that someone else gave to me.

Beginner swim lessons will go through the process of becoming acclimated to the water and slowly move towards water independence.
Intermediate swim lessons are focused more on their stroke development as well as breathing during swimming. Intermediate students, I also recommend to join a swim team so they are able to gain more competitive swimming skills.
