About Jack

I have a k-12 Special Education and a art teaching certification as well as a Social studies 7-12 certification. I work in a Highschool setting within the special education department where I help students with special needs who academics can range from elementary level and up. With that said, I have become familiar with working at the elementary level for Math and English.

About the lesson

I like to try and get to know them. I want to understand where they are academically, what areas they are having trouble with and try to assess how I can help them.

I have worked with a broad range of students. I have worked with elementary, middle school and highschool. I have particulary spent quite a bit of time with students with special needs as well.

I would encourage them too look for someone that can help them reach their academic goals, but challenge and help them to broaden and harness their skills.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What areas in their academics do they need help with. What goals do they have in mine in terms of their own academics.

What else would they like to get out of their tutoring experience?
