About Camila

Hello!!!

I am Camila, raised and born in Colombia and moved here 10 years ago. I have been teaching my language to many people and I love it. This is my hobby and I’d like to share that with other people that will be interested in learning Spanish.

I started working in a kindergarten and ever since I knew I wanted to keep teaching and expanding my options. I was a tutor in college and then here in USA

I am a bilingual engineering with teaching experience with kids all ages and teenagers. I have been tutoring for over 5 years in Colombia, Michigan y Texas.
I have more than 10 years of experience with math and Excel and over 5 with languages .

About the lesson

First I'd like to have a short zoom meeting to understand the needs of the students and see what is the best way to teach them or help them out. After we meet each other online I will come up with a plan and tell them how I will like to proceed for the tutoring sessions

I have been working with young kids, teenagers and college kids.

I would tell my student that I can help him/her to find a teacher in the area of expertise because I know a lot of people that can help. Also I will advice to ask the teacher to give them a 20-30 min consultation to see if it will be a great fit for them

I work for Apple and I started training within my job.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
- Which areas of expertise do they have

- How many years they have been teaching that

- What is their teaching method

- Availability
