About Diana
I teach private Spanish and ESL classes. My journey in teaching Spanish and English started over 10 years ago. I have extensive experience in private tutoring and classes, as well as, having worked in different schools including Wheaton College, Covenant Classical School of Naperville, IL, and most recently Willow Montessori on the Plaza in Kansas City.
Having lived in Mexico for 17 years as a child, it was only natural to learn fluent Spanish and firsthand knowledge of the Latin American culture. This lead me to go into teaching Spanish and ESL to children, as well as, college students and professionals.
(concealed information)
It is also my hope and dream to help children, students, and professionals to reach a bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English to help them discover the beautiful world and culture these languages can open up to them. The opportunity to travel, see things they never new existed, taste and feel the warmth of the culture and people. There is a world of opportunity out there. Let Spanish or English be the door to get you there.
In high school, I was asked to teach ESL by the parents of my Sunday school students while living in Mexico.
I have a and M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction with ESOL and a B.A. in Education and Spanish. Was certified to teach K-12.
