About Sarah
I've been working with youth for over a decade - as a high school and Sunday school teacher, mission trip leader, Bible Quizzing Coach, and youth group leader. My degree is in Bible and Secondary Education (Cedarville University 2008), and I taught high school Bible in the classroom for 2 1/2 years at Alliance Academy International in Quito, Ecuador. Now, I am a homeschooling mom with 3 kids. I have experience catering to a variety of learning styles, and will use that to help your student have 'lightbulb moments' that lead to long-term memory. I enjoy challenging students to do their best work, and love explaining the 'why' behind what they're learning. I have lots of experience writing papers and proofreading. Although my degree is in Bible, I am interested in a variety of subjects and would love to help your high schooler study any of the humanities via his/her learning style.
