About Jeffrey
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish and a teaching certificate in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language)
I have been studying Russian for 6 years and Spanish for 12.
I taught English at the Literacy Council in Fort Smith for half a year, where I taught English-language learners from other countries how to read and write in English. While there I worked with students with learning disabilities so I am qualified in teaching students of different needs. I taught English in Russia for one month and had a lot of fun. Mainly I taught pilots how to read a Boeing operations manual in English, because pilots are required to be able to read and write in English. I also compiled private lessons for several students of different levels while in Moscow.
I am qualified to teach private lessons in Russian, Spanish, and ESL. Lessons are taught mainly online through Skype or Zoom.
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish with teacher licensure in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language).
I have taught English at the Literacy Council for about 6 months. The Literacy Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping English-language learners learn to read and write.
I have been studying Spanish for 12 years and Russian for 6. I am proficient enough in Spanish to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students, and am proficient enough in Russian to be able to teach beginning and intermediate students. While I was working at the Literacy Council I taught beginning and advanced courses so I am qualified to teach ESL to students of all levels.

First I will have an introductory interview on Skype to assess the student's needs and expectations, as well as establish a regular meeting time that works for both the teacher and the student. Every student has different needs, so an initial interview is necessary because I create personalized lessons tailored specifically toward each student.
I have worked with mainly adult students, some of whom were advanced students and just wanted to converse in English to improve their speaking skills. Most of my students were beginners in English and had never spoken English before or taken an English class. I had some students who were illiterate in English, and some who were also illiterate in their native language as well as English. I had some students who had dimentia as well. A couple of my students were children and teenagers and were intermediate to advanced in English.

Details
Each lesson is approximately one hour and is free. The reason why I am not charging anything is because my long-term goal is to teach abroad, but in order to do that, I need more experience, so providing lessons through this site is a way for me to have official, documented, experience that I can provide to a potential employer. To teach abroad I need one year of teaching experience and at the moment I only have 6 months, so this is a way for me to get more experience and make myself more marketable.
