About Danielle
Hi there! I am a trumpet player with 15+ years experience playing the trumpet. Not only have I taught lessons on the trumpet for many junior high students previously, but I have played in many ensembles myself. My main focus has been musical theatre pit orchestras, but I also have 8 years of marching band experience and was a section leader in a Division 1 Varsity Marching Band during University. I am here to encourage learning and make sure that you enjoy learning more about the trumpet!
I actually have a younger cousin that plays the trumpet, so whenever I was still in high school I began giving her lessons. After that, I got a trumpet teaching job at a local private elementary/junior high school during college.
I received private lessons myself on the trumpet for 9 years. I also have studied trumpet in college both in a classroom setting and performance settings. While my degree is not in the trumpet, I have received ample education and performed in many locations around the world.

I have mostly worked with elementary and junior high students.
My best advice would be to choose a teacher that fits your style. If you want to be classically trained, pay attention to a specific teacher's offerings. If you want to study music for fun, look for that!

My goal here is to teach folks who may not have a lot of spare income. Typically my lessons would be $30 weekly for 30 minutes, but if you are looking or something out of that price range or less frequently just let me know! We can figure something out.
