About Sarah
I am a very excited musician who hopes to bring forth new, beginner trumpet players into the world of brass.
I held many leadership positions in my high school trumpet section in various ensembles, and tutored children ages 10-12 on beginner trumpet techniques to prepare them for junior high ensembles.

Depending on the beginner student's experience (or lack there of), I prefer to start by teaching/reviewing basic playing position and embouchure to ensure we start off on a good foundation. From there we'll learn basic scales and fingerings for notes on said scales. My focus with my students is typically enforcing good air support and providing techniques on how to develop tonality.
