About Euan
I am a college student looking to provide beggining trumpet lesssons for anybody who wants to take up the instrument, or for anyone that has intermediate experience and is looking to further their abilities. At the moment, I have a scholarship from SIU Carbondale for my music minor, and in the past, I was selected for the Illinois All State Band. It'd be great if I could start working with you to become a better trumpet player!
The first real teaching experience I got was when I was trumpet section leader in high school where I would lead sectionals on occasion.
I have helped run a summer band camp for elementry kids over four summers by serving as the trumpet section leader.

I like to take one lesson to gauge where the player is at on different techniques and from there I try to find exercises or different etudes that will help the player develop the different techniques that I feel should be developed the most.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What goals do they want to accomplish and how much practice should the student put in to accomplish those goals.
