About Alex
Hi, my name is Alex Mistretta and I've been a Personal Trainer since 2001 with an emphasis on Volleyball training. I started my Volleyball career as a Junior player, playing Junior Olympic Club and finished playing a little over 10 years ago with my last tournament being the Hermosa Beach AVP Open. In between I tried out for the National Team Development Program and U.S B Team as a young player, played in the MIVA Div in college for UIC, played on the Midwest Pro Beach tour and various other leagues and tours.
I know specialize in Personal Training and Personal Volleyball Training and Coaching. Besides being available for teams, I train individuals and get them ready for Volleyball by Plyometric and Fitness drills combined with Volleyball specific workouts. I was also a Div 1 Track athlete, I occasional teach Bodyboarding and Skiing to beginners and I also competed seriously in Fencing and Team Handball.
