About Finn
I have 5+ years experience as a tutor, teaching online and in person. I generally specialise on ages 8-13. I am a methodical and calm teacher. A lot of my experience is with children who have specific learning differences. I myself was diagnosed dyslexic at the age of 8, and consequently have lot of understanding of those who struggle with English comprehension. I have a proven track record of helping students who struggle at English to achieve quick and noticeable improvement.

I strive to create a lesson atmosphere in which children of all abilities and learning styles feel comfortable to express themselves, so that we can quickly identify and develop their weaker areas together. My classes are 50 minutes long, and I teach both online and in person. I normally focus on homework to start with, as I find this a good place to begin to identify topics with which the student struggles. From there, we may move on to specific questions, exercises and activities that target those areas.
