About James
Hi, my names James and I'm studying architecture at the University of Edinburgh (I also did a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Leeds Arts University). At A Level I studied Art & Design, Classics, Maths, Physics and an EPQ. I have been with MyTutor for over a year now and in that time have tutored a variety of subjects with kids ranging from age 7 to 21. Furthermore, I've taught classes of up to 20 people and along with a fellow student and I produced a GCSE Astronomy revision guide which is available on Amazon. Whilst I have a good grounding in a variety of GCSE subjects, my areas of 'expertise' are in art, classical civilisation, design & technology, maths and physics. I am more than happy to tutor anything up from KS1 all the way up to GCSE.

Sessions can either have a pre-set structure or can act as an opportunity for students to address specific questions or areas of difficulty. Before starting tuition we'll spend some time setting some goals and creating a plan to achieve those goals.
Whilst I don't have a set structure as I like to tailor lessons to each student I do typically focus the lessons around a theory base and progress to applying that knowledge through questions towards the end.
