About Mnahel
I am currently a law student, planning to go into postgraduate education. I have been giving private lessons in Maths and English to young children for over three years, particularly in preparation for the Year 6 SATs. I also offer help in science and history. I have experience in teaching from Year 3 to Year 6 and am also able to offer transition sessions for moving into KS3 education.

My sessions are based on the current UK KS2 curriculum. I begin by having a student take a diagnostic test for each subject to ascertain the areas they need support in. Then I craft a timetable to cover the required topics and begin weekly sessions. In my experience, understanding comes from practice, and I set short homework tasks after each session.
Please note an email address is required for me to provide lesson resources and homework tasks. I also send a questionnaire to parents ahead of starting the course for evaluation of the child’s needs and goals.

Maths - 1HR weekly - £9 (in-person online)
If you choose to take both the English and Maths sessions, I charge a discount price of £16 for two hours a week (one hour English, one-hour Maths). These can be taken back-to-back or separately during the week.
