About Aisha
I'm a neuroscientist and educator with 10 years experience in K-12 STEM mentoring and tutoring. I have been working with students and helping them understand complex scientific concepts since I was in grad school, and I find it to be the most rewarding part of my career.
I have a PhD in neuroscience from Cornell University and a B.Sc. in Biology from University of Houston. I have tutored students as early as pre-K and as late a undergrad, in subjects including general biology, genetics, cell and developmental biology, and ecology.

I began teaching in the Rockefeller University Science Outreach Program in 2013.
I have a B.Sc. in biology and a Ph.D. in neuroscience with a focus on cell and developmental biology. I've taught and mentored K-12 students in biological science for the past 8 years.
