About Robin
I am passionate about helping people of all ages improve flow in all aspects of their life. Yoga asana and philosophy and meditation unify our bodies, minds, spirit, and community. I will help you establish a routine that meets your goals and lifestyle and celebrate your evolution as you find ease and efficiency, strength and balance, mindfulness and focus, on and off the mat.
I enjoy providing individual and group instruction, and am interested in working with all levels and ages of clients. I have 10+ years of endurance sports competition, including qualifying and running the 2017 Boston marathon, and have been a professional musician and music educator for 25+ years. Helping musicians and athletes maximize their performance is one of my special interests.
I am certified at the RYT 200 level, am pursuing certification for working with children and teens, and study the Alexander technique. I carry my own insurance.
I love the process of exploring with people new ways of being, helping them realize more of themselves through our work together. While we accomplish goals and objectives, the process is often more valuable than the product.
My parents were both educators and continue to be passionate about service to their community. I have been involved in the healing arts in various ways, having worked in music therapy and social work in years past. Teaching yoga has been a joyful extension of my own practice and the body work I incorporated in my private music studio.
I hold the RYT 200 level certification and am pursuing additional yoga certifications this year. As a practitioner and teacher in training for Alexander Technique, I bring many of those principles to my work in yoga and music instruction.
For over 25 years I have been a professional musician and music educator, honing my ability to be structured yet flexible, disciplined yet receptive - I am eager to share with you what I have learned about how to better "go with the flow"!
My degrees and experience in psychiatric social work and music therapy have been extremely helpful in helping my students and clients navigate the complex systems in which we all live and work.

For private sessions, I always start by assessing your goals and any physical or mental history that might impact our work together. I start where you are and help you to either build your existing practice through modifications, adjustments, or extensions, or to start from the very beginning to develop a home-based routine that works for you.
I offer regular classes for kids yoga (ages 3-10) and adult all-levels classes (one including meditation) at two studios in Dallas. Private clients have included athletes of various stripes and the "young elderly" (55-75).
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I always encourage students to consider their short- and long-term goals and to incorporate regular practice into their routine. I encourage new students to consider
--your schedule and the length of daily practice to which you can commit,
--the ways in which you would like to have more ease or strength in your body,
--what instructional style works best for you,
--any injuries or compensations you are aware of,
--your interest in blending meditation into a yoga practice,
--any intellectual or emotional concerns you have about beginning or extending your yoga practice,
--any questions you have about anatomy and physiology.

Perfect! So helpful & positive!
Perfect! She is excellent. Very helpful & super sweet. I always wanted to take yoga classes but same time I was super nervous since I don’t have a flexible body, I told her my goal & she had a great plan for me, demonstrates perfectly & makes it so easy & interesting. Love her. If y’all looking for a perfect yoga instructor hit her up, the best in D-Town.
