About Nicole
Move and Stretch was created in 2013 to meet the basic needs of the community. Move and Stretch addresses basic physical necessities such as balance, strength and posture; mental needs of focus, release and accomplishment; emotional needs of happiness, capability and confidence. I, Nicole Lea, am passionate about the healing benefits of intentional therapeutic movement. I utilize ancient techniques such as Tai Chi, Yoga and Dance to get you moving in a safe and effective way.
Movement is beautiful and movement is necessary. I enjoy bringing movement into my client's lives because of the results are empowering. I enjoy sharing anatomical facts about the movements we are practicing. I treasure in sharing a cup of soothing herbal tea with my client to accompany overall well being. Maintaining health is constant and adaptive. Learning to listen to one's body is a beautiful lesson and is a skill that supports life long health. The journey to life long health starts with a step and I am here for you to take that step!

Next we meet at a local park for the intro class where we can decide on further training and practice sets.
After the 3rd practice, we evaluate progress.

Personal interest in class design. Attitude very upbeat. Tailors exercise movement so that all can participate. Very enjoyable.
The moves and postures are explained and demonstrated very well. Each lesson is dynamic and energizing. Great instructor! I highly recommend Move and Stretch for yoga and Tai Chi!

The yoga instructor was thoughtful, kind and patient during class. She had ready suggestions whenever she noticed a participant struggling with a pose. She had solutions, not criticism. She brought fun and inspiration to class and suggestions for a healthy lifestyle and diet.
Tree Frog is an inspiring teacher and gifted at meeting your needs. Her Move and Stretch program helped reduce stiffness in my entire body and got me up and doing things I didn't think possible! I particularly enjoyed her Tai Chi offerings.
