You don't have to be thin and flexible to enjoy the benefits of yoga!

Make sure any teacher you choose has the ability to adapt yoga postures for your particular body. A more slender yoga teacher may not understand how to adapt poses to make you comfortable if you have a bigger belly, or big boobs, or other issues that require compassion, understanding, and skill.

If you know what you need help with, then you can share those challenges with your perspective teacher, and see if it's a good fit.

Perfect! Meera takes great care to personalize and taper the class to the individual student. She’s very caring and makes sure the student gets what she’s teaching. I’m very much enjoying her classes. Highly recommend!
