Kripalu and Prenatal Yoga Instructor with more than 10 years experience teaching group and one on one classes.
These classes feature relaxing or upbeat music (depending on the type of class), inspiration, relaxation, strength, knowledge and support in your practice. They are either held virtually via Zoom or held in my cozy, zen-like home in Palm Beach Gardens where space is limited and always comfortable. Limited yoga mats are available for students without a mat.
Classes are for beginner to moderately experienced students and postures can be modified depending on experince level.
Also being a Licensed Midwife and Doula of 22 years, Prenatal classes include tidbits of info, advice and poses specifically to build strength and relaxation for pregnancy and preparation for birth. All trimesters welcome and postures can be modified according to your pregnancy progression.
All classes begin with a brief meditation and focus on breathing techniques, progress through a flow of poses for strength and relaxation, balancing through strength and surrender, while remaining focused on breathing techniques throughout.
The classes will end with a savasana meditation and/or visualization for relaxation and to prepare you to bring your practice off the mat. For prenatal classes, these meditations/visualizations may also be helpful in releasing fears or negativity surrounding your pregnancy, birth or mothering and bring positivity and connection with your pregnancy and your baby.
I absolutely love teaching...everything.
I am also a professor at a Midwifery school, teaching student midwives as well as teach my own online courses for pregnancy, childbirth education and women's health so teaching is definitely my thing.
I enjoy bringing education and information to my students to help guide them to where they intend to go. I feel that it's so very important to always be a student, learning and absorbing everything that we can while we're here so that we are able to enjoy this life to our absolute fullest.
I especially love seeing the transformation in my students. As they learn, they grow and that is simply so rewarding.

All new students fill out an intake form to tell me a bit about their practice and why they are interested in taking classes as well as goals for the classes. We will then discuss the answers to the questions during the signup process as well as answer any questions that the student may have.
I always like to spend a few moments in the beginning of group classes as well to do an into with each student so that eberyone can learn names and a tidbit about each other.
All one on one sessions include a 15 minute question and answer session to determine the students unique needs.
