About Lauren
I have been teaching for over 8 years now, and have continued my education the whole time - always striving to learn more to benefit my students.
I believe EVERYONE can practice yoga, you just need to find the right modification or variations to suit your body and level. I also know not all teachers are created equally..I work with my students on an individual basis to help them discover their personal practice.

Yoga and meditation has been absolutely life changing for me, and I love sharing that with others. As someone who has struggled with mental health and dieting issues for a long time, yoga has truly given me a second chance at life. Rather than struggling and suffering, I am now thriving. It is my privilege to share these priceless tools with others.

200 hour teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa in 2014
60 hour course on Ashtanga yoga and the primary series including anatomy, alignment, and philosophy in 2016
5 hour intensive restorative yoga training
300 hour Ashtanga apprenticeship (1 on 1 training) including Yoga Sutra and Bhagavad Gita study, theory related to practice, anatomy adustments and injuries related to the postures of the primary and second series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Aura in 2018
Integrative Institute of Nutrition Holistic Health Coaching Certification in 2019
85 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Awakened Spirit Yoga in 2020
Intro to childbirth for Doulas, and 18 hour DONA International Approved Birth Doula Workshop

I am a very versatile teacher! I teach weekly at a gym with an extremely varied student base (injuries, body types, ages, experience levels), I also teach at a hospital, group residence, at multiple studios - including one with a mysore program that is a very hands on individualized approach. I also love teaching privates to beginners, moms to be, and special needs clients.
