About Jacob
Hi there, my name is Jacob and I am an incoming sophomore student studying computer science at Biola University. My hobbies include programming, skiing, cooking, design, and playing video games. I have been learning and practicing programming for more than 8 years now, and I absolutely love every bit of it. I have most experience in Python and JavaScript, but also know other programming languages. My biggest educational goal is to receive a Master's in A.I and Cybersecurity. As for teaching, I have been and still currently am teaching English communication skills to Chinese students who struggle in the area, I have been doing this for around 5 years now. I also have been teaching computer science concepts on a volunteer tutoring platform known as Schoolhouse.World for almost 3 years now. My tutoring clients and students love my sessions!

I have known Jacob as a tutor and as a friend for almost two years now. He helped me master web development and pass my APCSA class at school. When I first started my programming journey, it felt overwhelming and hard. But he helped me get through the hardships by encouraging me and helping me understand all the programming concepts I have trouble with. Thanks to him, I was also able to get a really good score on my APCSA exam. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing Jacob as your tutor for programming related things, he teaches really well!
