About David
Hi, I'm David, a software engineer from Colombia with a B.S. in Software Engineering from CUE Alexander von Humboldt. I work remotely as a Software developer for international teams, building web platforms and APIs, so I use logic and problem solving every day.
Mathematics has always been my strongest subject. That is why I enjoy teaching it: I know how it feels to get stuck on a topic, and I like helping students find the way through it.
I am patient, punctual, and well prepared for every session. I adapt my pace to each student and I am always open to feedback, so the lessons work for you. My goal is that you leave each class feeling more capable and more confident than when you started.

My lessons focus on understanding the "why" behind every concept, not memorizing formulas. I explain each topic step by step, using examples and guided practice, until you can solve problems on your own.
A typical lesson: we start by reviewing your doubts and previous topics, then I introduce the new concept with a clear explanation, we solve exercises together, and you finish with a few problems to practice. Between classes, I can share extra exercises and give feedback.
What sets me apart: I earned top marks in every math course of my Software Engineering degree, from basic algebra and calculus to differential equations, and I worked repeatedly as a university calculus teaching assistant.
Lessons are for: high school and university students in Precalculus, Calculus, Logic, and university admission preparation. All levels are welcome, including students who feel math is not for them. Lessons in English or Spanish.
