About Sidra
I am a PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences at the University of Calgary with over eight years of teaching and research experience in microbiology and biological sciences. I previously worked as a Senior Lecturer of Microbiology, where I taught undergraduate courses and supervised student research projects. My research focuses on antimicrobial resistance and innovative therapeutic strategies against bacterial pathogens. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students understand complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging way. My goal is to support students in achieving academic success and building confidence in science.

My lessons focus on helping students develop a clear understanding of biological concepts through interactive discussions, visual explanations, and real-life scientific examples. I teach biology, microbiology, molecular biology, and related subjects at both high school and university levels. As a PhD researcher with extensive teaching experience, I also help students prepare for exams, understand difficult course material, and improve their scientific reasoning.
