About Emily

I’m a dance major at PACE University, and I am eager to help you develop as a dancer. From the tender age of ten, I’ve been immersed in the world of dance, participating in esteemed competitions such as NYCDA and YAGP. My crowning achievement came in 2023 when I triumphed at the YAGP finals, earning the privilege to perform alongside the illustrious ballerinas of the American Ballet Theatre at the gala. While I may not have formal teaching experience, my years spent assisting younger students at our studio and learning from our Bolshoi-trained professionals have equipped me with the necessary communication skills, patience, and unwavering dedication to the art of dance.

About the lesson

Taking a dance lesson is a journey of rhythm, movement, and self-expression. It begins with a warm-up to loosen your muscles and prepare your body for the choreography ahead. As the music starts, you’ll follow my lead, learning each step and movement with precision and grace. Throughout the lesson, you’ll not only improve your technique but also your confidence, as you express yourself through the art of dance. It’s a transformative experience that combines physical activity, artistic expression, and personal growth. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, each lesson brings new challenges and opportunities for improvement. So put on your dancing shoes and let the music guide you!
