About Dee
I am a highly-acclaimed professional English tutor with over 7 years of international teaching experience and the results to match. I've taught thousands of students nationally and worldwide both as a private tutor, and through platforms including Preply, AmazingTalker, LiveXP, and NativeCamp.
I am TEFL certified and hold professional certifications in computer science, IT, and cybersecurity from Google, AWS, Meta, and IBM, making me especially suited to help students learning English for STEM, tech, or professional purposes.
I studied Organic Chemistry at the University of Auckland, giving me a deep understanding of academic and technical language in science and math. I began teaching in New Zealand, helping students achieve excellent results in NCEA and Cambridge exams, and spent 2 years teaching across Asia, working with learners from virtually every corner of the globe.
I have had the privilege of teaching people from all around the world, and through this experience I now speak 10 languages at varying levels, so don’t worry if your English isn’t perfect — that’s exactly why we’re here!
My experience spans children, teenagers, university students, and professionals, and I am passionate about helping students achieve tangible results, gain confidence in English, and thrive academically, professionally, and socially anywhere in the world.
