Brian is a respected member of our tutor community. He is highly recommended for his commitment and the quality of his lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Brian
I am a medical student who achieved a 95th percentile score in the HPAT and have a strong understanding of what is required to perform at a high level in the exam. Having completed the HPAT myself and progressed through the medicine application process, I am familiar with both the challenges students face and the strategies that lead to success.
I also have extensive experience tutoring HPAT students, helping them improve through structured preparation, targeted feedback, and exam-focused techniques. Students I have worked with are now medical students themselves through consistent, guided practice.
I created HPATHelp.ie to provide a clear and structured approach to HPAT preparation based on real exam experience. My teaching focuses on the core skills tested in the exam, including logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and interpersonal understanding, with a strong emphasis on timing and exam strategy.
Lessons are professional, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on identifying weaknesses early and building a personalized plan to improve them efficiently. Students are encouraged to develop a consistent, repeatable approach to problem solving under timed conditions.
My aim is to help students maximize their HPAT score while building the confidence needed to perform at their best on exam day, whether they are starting out or aiming for a top percentile result.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, Brian exceeded every expectation. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for what he does truly stood out. They made everything feel effortless while still delivering top-tier quality. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding service."
I would highly recommend Brian for HPAT grinds. He has a really charismatic and approachable personality, which makes the sessions enjoyable, and he has a great ability to break down complex material into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. His grinds are highly personalised to suit each student’s individual needs, and it’s clear that he genuinely has the student’s best interests at heart. He is always willing to adapt his approach and go the extra mile to help you improve.
