About M
Salam, my name is Muhammad. I live in the UK and specialise in the recitation of the Noble Qur’an and also teaching Arabic to non-Arabs. I have seven years experience and have taught and tutored many students in various madaris, institutes and also privately which has allowed me to accumulate a wealth of knowledge and experience from teaching both children and adults.
I have been fortunate enough (alhamdulillah) to study tajweed and qira’ah for five years under esteemed qurra (expert reciters of the Noble Qur’an) from the UAE, Somalia, Yemen, Syria and South Africa and have ijazah to teach tajweed.
I am a dedicated, passionate and approachable teacher who always goes above and beyond (even outside of class hours!) I track my students’ progress and identify key areas for improvement and devise practical steps on how to overcome them. Likewise, I am always willing to provide additional materials to supplement and aid students. I’ve also recently set up a YouTube channel through which I teach Arabic language and, if students want, I will happily provide supplementary videos and upload them to the channel.
