My approach to teaching focuses on fostering a deep understanding of concepts rather than rote memorization. I prioritize an interactive and student-centered learning environment, where I encourage students to ask questions and engage in discussions. I tailor my teaching methods to the student's learning style—whether they are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners. I use practical examples, real-life applications, and demonstrations to simplify complex concepts, ensuring students relate the subject to their day-to-day experiences.
Structure of a Class
Each class typically follows a structured format:
Introduction – I start by assessing the student's prior knowledge of the topic and setting clear objectives for the session.
Concept Breakdown – I introduce the core concepts step-by-step, using diagrams, analogies, and interactive examples.
Practice and Problem-Solving – Once the concept is understood, we move on to practice problems, giving students hands-on experience with the material.
Doubt Clearing – I allocate time for the students to raise any doubts or areas they find difficult.
Review and Feedback – I conclude with a summary of the topic and provide feedback, along with suggestions for self-study or resources.
Special Features as a Teacher
What sets me apart as a teacher is my commitment to personalized learning. I adapt my pace and method based on the student's progress. Additionally, I focus not only on academic success but also on building a student's confidence and critical thinking skills. My background in research, NGO work, and teaching experience allows me to relate physics concepts to real-world issues and make lessons engaging.
Intended Audience
My classes are designed for:
School children: I offer tutoring for middle and high school students looking to build a strong foundation in physics and math.
College-level students: I help undergraduates dive deeper into specialized areas, solve complex problems, and prepare for exams.
Adults: For those interested in learning physics for professional growth or personal interest, I tailor my lessons to suit their pace and needs.
My goal is to make learning enjoyable and accessible to all age groups and educational levels.
