About Afdal
The name’s Afdal. I lived and studied in Japan, and somewhere along the way the language stopped being something I was learning and became something I love. The culture, the way of thinking, the small details in how things are expressed — it’s beautiful, and I want to pass that on, not just teach grammar rules. Whether you’re picking up your first hiragana or pushing through N3 grammar, I’ll make sure you walk away with real understanding, not memorized answers.

I know Afdal as my son’s tutor. He is a dedicated, patient, and knowledgeable teacher who always takes the time to ensure his students understand the lessons well.
What I appreciate most about his teaching style is his ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. He creates a comfortable learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and stay motivated to learn Japanese.
Over the time we have worked together, I have seen my son’s confidence and understanding improve significantly. Afdal is reliable, supportive, and genuinely cares about his students’ progress. I would highly recommend him to any student looking for an excellent tutor.View more recommendations
