About Zaida
"Opening principles, tactical patterns, board vision, calculation, visualization, time management, tournament preparation, recording, notation, and endgame technique form the foundation of my instructional framework. Standing at the board in high-pressure matches across Adelaide taught me exactly what separates a casual player from a serious competitor during my 12 years of coaching juniors and adults. Having reached a peak rating of 2300, I translate these high-level concepts into actionable discipline for those I mentor.
Several of my students have reached Australian junior podiums while I continue advocating for more girls in the national chess scene. I enjoy seeing students apply these rigorous methods to their own play every single day."
