I've worked directly and indirectly on a number of education related projects with Michael, and his method of teaching is great! He is always super clear and enthusiastic about the concepts he is teaching, and always provides great examples to every model and equation he uses. He is very well rounded around different topics of economics & finance. He especially amazes me with his knowledge and interest in microeconomics, where I believe he very much stands out to the rest of us. Great person and great teacher!

Michael had tutored me for over a year and had boosted my grade completely!
Michael would make sure you had completely understood the topic before moving to the next and does a lot of exam style questions in order to get the best results. He had helped me gain a lot of confidence with my work and helped me gain extra knowledge, from what the course already demonstrates and etc in order to get the best results. Without him I wouldn’t be doing an Economics degree now!

Michael is a great tutor and went above and beyond to make sure I fully understood what we were covering before the session was over. He came fully prepared with my specification , which he had already read through and many other things I will mention in the next paragraph.

An example of a topic we covered was scarcity and choice. To cover this we first set out what I needed to know by going through my specification so I knew what I needed to understand by the end. Michael then explained the topic on a whiteboard in general terms making sure I understood throughout the content. He then applied the problem to real life scenarios before asking me to apply it to some to test my understanding. We then went over some verbal questions just to make sure I fully understood the basis of the topic. Michael then covered how I would structure and essay for this and gave me a few examples of his own before giving me a question to answer once I understood the essay technique. He finally emailed me some videos to watch so that I would freshen up on content when it came to revision.

I would definitely recommend Michael as a tutor as his teaching style allowed me to pick up topics rather quickly but also with very good understanding as given in the example.

Michael helped me massively when he introduced me to my A level economics course. He broke down the specification into topics that were easily understandable and explained them to me using methods that kept me engaged. Michael also helped me a lot with essay writing and showing me how to structure and approach essays. Michael is the best tutor I have had as he makes it easy to understand topics and always checks that you understand each topic well.

Michael is an amazing tutor and has A* economic skills and knowledge. I have worked along side Michael for many years now and he’s always strived to achieve the best, which is what he continuously does with all his students. His organisational and communication skills allow students to flourish in his lessons and during exams. He previously tutored my cousin who was struggling a lot with economics, but with his help she finally reached her goals in the final exams and got an A*! He always pushes his students to reach their full potential and more, and anyone that has the opportunity to be tutored by Michael I’m 100% sure they will be impressed with the quality of learning they’ll receive. Overall, a fantastic tutor, if you want to achieve top grades I definitely recommend his services.
