About Nicolas
I am a Final-year medical student at University College London (UCL) with a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. I hold an intercalated BSc in Neuroscience and Behaviour from UCL, Europe's top-ranked institution for neuroscience, which has given me a deep understanding of how to break down complex topics clearly.
My tutoring approach is built around practical, results-driven learning. I focus on:
Interactive whiteboard sessions for active learning and real-time problem-solving
Mark scheme mastery - understanding exactly what examiners want and how to deliver it
Efficient exam technique - maximising your marks through strategic, focused preparation
Whether you're aiming to improve your grades or gain confidence in challenging subjects, I'm here to help you achieve your goals through targeted, no-nonsense teaching methods.

I offer tailored GCSE tutoring in Science, Maths, and PE, helping students excel in exams while building skills for future success. My teaching focuses on deep understanding, effective revision strategies, and exam mastery.
Each lesson is typically structured around three key elements: understanding core concepts, applying knowledge through practice questions, and refining exam technique.
I start by identifying your strengths and areas for improvement, then break down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps through discussion and problem-solving.
Exam success requires strategy, not just knowledge. I emphasise mark scheme analysis so you understand exactly what examiners want, helping you answer questions confidently and efficiently.
My approach is dynamic and personalised to your learning style. Whether you need to build confidence, master difficult topics, or develop strategic exam skills, I'm committed to helping you achieve your goals.

Perfect! Nicolas is an outstanding maths tutor. He explains all topics clearly and patiently, making them much easier to understand. I highly recommend Nicholas to anyone looking to improve their maths.
- Luca is an excellent student who is very polite and motivated to learn. Moving forward, he can improve by taking a little more time to clearly write out all his working steps and double-check his calculations before finalising his answers. It was a pleasure to tutor him.Nicolas's response :

I have had the pleasure of working with Nicolas as both a colleague and a student over the past year, where he tutored me for end of year clinical examinations, and also two separate written examinations in medicine.
I was thoroughly impressed by his dedication, knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts, breaking them down into understandable terms. Nicolas possesses a strong grasp of scientific knowledge, and has excellent academic attainment.
Furthermore, Nicolas demonstrates endless patience and empathy, which I believe would make him a fantastic tutor.Having personally known Nico for many years I can safely say he is a top rate medical student with an aptitude for teaching. Nico provides detailed, nuanced guidance for medical school applications (including the UCAT) alongside excellent tutoring for A-level and GCSE exams.
