About Hilary
I am in my final year of undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music as a harpsichordist. I have experiences with piano and music theory teaching alongside my university studies in the last three years as well as accompaniment and performance. I am passionate about music education and teaching and have taken related modules during my studies in the conservatoire.

Learning an instrument should be a fun experience and as such I always try to keep my lessons relaxed but informative.
My lessons are tailored and suited to students of all ages and backgrounds so whether you're looking to learn to play a musical instrument for the first time or looking to progress to the next level my lessons cater for all students. Together we will work through songs and material to suit your particular musical tastes. Taking music education modules during my conservatoire studies have equipped me with teaching with various pedagogical methods based on students' learning styles and needs.
I have been teaching for the last few years with a range of students from 4 years old to adults from a variety of backgrounds. My students have been accepted in Chetham's School of Music and achieved distinction results in their ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory exams.
