About Elena
I
am currently a final year student at Durham University studying French and Russian. I have a long-standing interest in multi-culturalism and inclusion. I am an enthusiastic, warm and mature person with a compassionate nature. I enjoy working with students and seeing their academic progression. I do not believe in strict teaching methods or rigorously set time constraints or lesson plans. In my view, the student should always come first. That is why my lessons are easily adaptable to fit each student's individual needs. I look forward to working with you! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.

My lessons are customised and adapted to fit the student’s needs and interests without fail. I always ensure my lessons are interactive and creative.
In the past, I have tutored French and Greek on a one to one basis and have worked as a teaching assistant for Russian students between the ages of 11 and 16. I have received extremely positive feedback from students, parents and teachers for expertise and approachability.
I got a 7 in my maths GCSE and would be happy to help younger students struggling with mathematics.

Highly recommend!! A great teacher of English. Elena is very supportive and has a great way of intuitively explaining. Her ways of teaching are very engaging and inclusive.
Elena tutored my daughter French and has not only helped greatly with her language skills but also her confidence in speaking. A brilliant tutor.
Elena was recommended to me from a friend to help tutor my children in French. She has been extremely committed to making my children feel comfortable to make mistakes with her and has helped to engine a passion for the language.
Elena always goes above and beyond when preparing lessons for them, they are always excited for the weekly session with her. We have seen many improvements in the kids and so has the school. Thank you elena!View more recommendations
