About Shivani
As a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background, I am committed to helping students build confidence, master concepts, and achieve their academic goals. I'm a current undergraduate student at the University of New South Wales pursuing Accounting and Finance and I ranked 1st in my school for English A Language and economics in the International Baccalaureate curriculum. I scored a 1530 in the SATs and a band score of 8.0 in the IELTS. With experience teaching differently-abled individuals essential life skills and mentoring high school students, I understand the importance of patience, adaptability, and encouragement. My tutoring sessions are structured yet flexible, tailored to each student’s learning style, and focused on deep understanding rather than rote memorization. Whether it's English or Mathematics I ensure that my students not only improve their grades but also develop strong study habits and problem-solving skills. My tutoring approach is adaptive, engaging, and focused on building independent thinking. I ranked 1st in my school for English A Language and Literature in the IB curriculum and was among the top 5 in Mathematics in my CBSE 10th standard.
