About Quinn
As a finance graduate with High Distinctions in core finance subjects, I know how to explain topics like time value of money, loans, and risk and return in a clear, step-by-step way. I have several years of experience helping students as a peer mentor and in-class helper, so I am patient, organized, and used to working with different learning styles. In our lessons, you can expect structured explanations, lots of guided practice, and a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and building real confidence before your exams. My goal is for you to understand the concepts deeply and can apply everything you learn to real life, not just pass exam and book knowledge.

My teaching approach is to break finance concepts into simple steps, use lots of worked examples, and then guide you through similar questions until you feel confident doing them on your own. I focus on understanding first, then practice, so you know why formulas work, not just how to plug numbers in.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes. In the first few minutes we set goals for the session, then work through key concepts and questions, and finish with a short recap plus “home practice” so you know what to revise next time.
I have a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance and Information Technology, I am a CFA Program candidate, and I achieved High Distinction results in my core finance subjects, including Fundamentals of Finance. I have experience helping students as a peer helper and mentor in Economics, Statistics, Finance and Accounting subjects, explaining concepts in clear, everyday language.
My lessons are for:
First‑year university or foundation students studying Fundamentals of Finance / Intro Finance or similar units.
High school students (Years 10–12) who want support with business/commerce and basic finance topics (time value of money, interest, loans, investing basics).
