About Alireza

Hello! I am a doctoral researcher and university instructor in finance, specializing in quantitative modeling, applied statistics, and higher-level mathematics. Over the years, I have taught and mentored students in fast-paced university classrooms as well as one-on-one settings, guiding learners across a wide spectrum of quantitative courses—from high school algebra and AP Calculus to college-level statistics and quantitative analysis.

My goal as an educator is to take the intimidation out of numbers. Whether you are trying to stay ahead in rigorous coursework, preparing for high-stakes exams, or working through foundational gaps, I provide patient, highly structured, and dependable guidance tailored to your specific pace and learning style.

About the lesson

I specialize in making rigorous quantitative concepts accessible, practical, and intuitive. Rather than relying on passive listening, my approach centers on active problem solving, diagnostic feedback, and first-principles reasoning.

How Lessons Are Structured:

Targeted Check-In: We pinpoint immediate sticking points from your lectures, quizzes, or problem sets.

Concept Deconstruction: I explain the core theory using clear visual models, real-world examples, and step-by-step scaffolding.

Guided Practice: We work through representative problems together, gradually transferring the problem-solving reins entirely to you.

Wrap-Up & Exam Strategy: We identify common exam traps, review key formulas, and set actionable practice targets for the next class.

Who These Sessions Are For:

High School: Algebra, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Statistics.

University: Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Introductory Econometrics, and Quantitative Business Methods.

Standardized Testing: Quantitative reasoning review and targeted test prep.

Bringing direct university teaching background and deep familiarity with collegiate and AP curricula, I adapt completely to your learning pace to turn frustration into consistent academic performance.
