About Maham
I am a Rutgers University finance student with previous experience at NYU and a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical problem-solving. I scored a 750 on the SAT Math section and understand the skills and strategies needed to succeed on the exam.
I take a patient, personalized approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student's needs and learning style. My goal is to make challenging concepts easier to understand while helping students build confidence and become stronger, more independent problem-solvers.

My approach is focused on making difficult concepts simple, clear, and easy to understand. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a problem rather than simply memorizing formulas.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by instruction on the main concept and guided practice. I then have students work independently so I can identify areas for improvement. For SAT preparation, I also focus on time management, question patterns, and effective test-taking strategies.
What sets me apart is my finance background, strong analytical skills, and patient teaching style. I work primarily with middle and high school students looking to strengthen their math skills, prepare for the SAT, or build confidence in mathematics. Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual level and goals.
