About Elena
My education consists of 12 years of academic training as a fine artist, with deep expertise in drawing, painting, anatomy and perspective. I love sharing knowledge about these subjects with my students. Before the pandemic, I enjoyed participating in international art festivals and forums, and my paintings can be found in exhibitions and private art collections around the world. A number of my students have pursued their own professional art careers after working with me.

I use a classical theory-based approach to guide students towards creating high-quality artworks through regular evaluations and constructive feedback. Practical demonstrations are used to break down complex subject matters in a way that is easy for you to see and understand. I offer critical feedback through suggestions and demonstration, helping you to tackle difficult techniques while growing your confidence and pride in your work. The goal is to give you a fundamental grasp of art skills in your chosen area using lines, colour, tone and many other elements. The lessons typically last 1-2 hours, depending on the student's requirements. You can choose to work on a particular topic or image during the sessions if you wish. I have a BA in Fine Art and 15 years of experience as a private tutor. All age groups and skill levels are welcome in my classes.
