About Lucia

I am a second-year student at Cambridge University studying Art History where I achieved first-class honours in my first-year exams and a prize for my dissertation. I have extensive experience, therefore, both in exam and in research-led situations.
While I have never tutored a student in art history, I have in the past mentored 6 students in Latin and in History at both GCSE and A Level. All of them achieved above B grades in their final exams.

About the lesson

I am offering lessons in Art History, History and Geography from GCSE to A Level.
My lessons will be geared to your specific goals but will always aim to introduce at least some new content, with the intention of constantly pushing the boundaries of your knowledge. They will largely consist, however, of practicing exam-style questions, research and writing skills. Their most important function is to make you as prepared as possible for any exam or submitted work, and then look beyond into what interests you most.

Lucia is one of the most intelligent, passionate and kind people I know. Not only is she academically brilliant - getting the highest grade out of the first year history of art students, she is always lovely and willing to help.

Being her supervision partner last term, I have myself witnessed her enthusiasm, ability to explain things well, and her consistently good feedback from our professor. She is super knowledgible, always researches extensively and dilligently into topics she may not know as well, and is good at explaining things. We often work together in libraries or cafes, and I frequently asked Lucia for help when I could not understand something. She always responded with clarity of understanding and explaination, so I would always end up getting the topic.

If I could get anyone to tutor myself personally, I would choose Lucia!
