About Priya
I am a First-Class Biomedical Sciences graduate from University College London with a particular interest in neuroscience, especially neurodegeneration and neuropharmacology. Alongside tutoring, I am deeply passionate about science communication and enjoy finding creative ways to make complex ideas accessible. In my spare time I have written articles, helped produce podcasts, and even drawn cartoon strips aiming to democratise the concepts I learned throughout my degree. I regularly take part in public science engagement events and firmly believe that science is not something distant or alien, but something that inevitably touches and shapes our lives. I aim to bring this perspective into my tutoring by explaining ideas clearly and patiently, encouraging questions and personalising my approach to the student in question.

My lessons are student-centred and tailored to each learner’s goals, confidence level, and learning style. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing this through worked examples, problem-solving, and exam practice. I also create personalised resources and homework to help students consolidate key ideas between sessions.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though longer/shorter sessions can be arranged if needed.
I am a First-Class Biomedical Sciences BSc graduate from University College London, with over 4 years of experience tutoring science and maths to students from ages 7-30. My aim is always to make complex topics clear, engaging, and approachable while helping students build confidence in their abilities.
A-level grades: 4 A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics.
