About Kerris

As a First-Class LLB Law with Spanish Law graduate, I have a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I hold C1-certified Spanish proficiency, which I developed through both my studies at the University of Granada and my immersive experiences in Spain. Beyond my legal studies, I spent the last 2 summers working as an au pair in Spain, where I taught English to Spanish children, developing effective language-teaching techniques tailored to young learners. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas in an engaging and accessible way, making my lessons dynamic and student-focused. I am adaptable, patient, and committed to creating structured, interactive, and engaging lessons for learners of all ages. Whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, or looking to build confidence in Spanish, I provide a supportive and encouraging environment to help you achieve your language goals.

About the lesson

About Me & My Tutoring Approach
As a first-class Law with Spanish Law graduate and C1-level Spanish speaker, I offer engaging and structured Spanish lessons tailored to A-level students and below. My approach focuses on building a strong foundation in grammar and core language structures before moving into more advanced conversational skills. This ensures students develop real, lasting confidence in their ability to use Spanish accurately and fluently.

Having lived in Spain twice—once as a language tutor and once as a law student—I bring cultural insight and academic experience to every session. My lessons are immersive and interactive, incorporating grammar explanations, vocabulary building, and real-world applications to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

Each one-hour session is tailored to your level and goals, whether in primary/secondary school/college preparing for GCSEs or A-levels or to generally learn spanish as a beginner I create a supportive and encouraging environment where learners can progress with clarity and confidence.
