About Sarah
I am currently a tutor with the Debate Chamber summer school program for ages 16-18. This involves a mixture of lectures, seminars, group work and individual learning in class sizes of 15 for students interested in pursuing History at university. Crucially, the teaching course is designed to broaden students' minds and encourage critical thinking.

My approach to tutoring is two-fold: firstly, helping the student understand the material they are struggling with , and secondly, providing the students with skills (be it revision techniques, reading and note-taking skills, etc.) which they can apply to further studies once personal tutoring has ended. I am also able to offer interview and History Application Test tutoring for students considering applying to Oxford.

I have been friends with Sarah for 10 years, and know her to be extremely capable in all that she does. She is conscientious, and approaches challenges with determination.
