About Timmika
Hi! My name is Timmika, and I am a first-year Chemistry and Biochemistry student with a strong interest in Mathematics and the Sciences. I am passionate about helping learners understand concepts clearly and develop greater confidence in their abilities.
As a student myself, I understand that everyone learns differently. My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging and adaptable, and I focus on breaking challenging topics into simple, understandable steps rather than expecting learners to memorise information without understanding it.
I offer tutoring in Chemistry, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Physics, depending on the learner’s grade and level. I can teach in English and work with learners from primary school through high school.
Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming test or exam, need help with schoolwork, or simply want to strengthen your understanding of a subject, I will tailor each lesson to your individual needs. My goal is not only to help you improve academically, but also to make learning feel less intimidating and help you become more confident and independent in your studies.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive and focused on making difficult concepts easier to understand. As a first-year Chemistry and Biochemistry student, I understand that subjects like Mathematics and Science can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to break each topic down into simple, manageable steps and explain concepts in different ways until they make sense.
My lessons are adapted to each learner’s needs and level. A typical lesson may include reviewing concepts the learner is struggling with, working through examples together, practising questions and identifying areas that need extra attention. I also encourage learners to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, as I believe confidence is an important part of learning.
I can teach in English and am comfortable working with learners from primary school through high school. I offer tutoring in Chemistry, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Physics, depending on the learner’s grade and level.
My lessons are aimed at learners who need additional support with understanding concepts, completing schoolwork, preparing for tests and exams, or simply building more confidence in a subject. Whether a learner is struggling with the basics or wants to strengthen their existing knowledge, I will work at a pace that suits them.
