About Matthew

I am a first year computer science student at Stellenbosch University. I have a lot of experience in tutoring as I have tutored throughout all of high school. I thoroughly enjoy maths and coding and excelled at these two subjects in matric. I have a strong foundation in maths and coding and I was able to get distinctions for both my maths and coding modules last semester.

About the lesson

My lessons are explicit and straight to the point, I ask at every checkpoint to see if you are understanding and I give you plenty of time to practise questions. I keep my explanations simple to understand and I teach in your most comfortable style and I play to your strengths. I teach only in English. You can expect to gain understanding behind topics rather than random memorised facts, as well as a structured breakdown of the syllabus.

Matthew was my math and IT tutor in high school when I was in grade 11. I initially started with marks in the 60s for both subjects, and my marks skyrocketed to the 80s and low 90s once I got his help. He explains very well and has an overall good understanding of all the work and content. Highly recommend.
