About Hesaam
I am a first year Natural Sciences student at UCL who achieved 3 A*s at A level. I was ranked as the top student in my A-level cohort at the end of both year 12 and 13, not simply for my academic ability, but also my punctuality, attendance and ability to teach others. I have over seven months of experience tutoring at Oaktree School, a specialist school for students with special educational needs (SEN). This role taught me how to adapt my teaching style to meet a wide range of learning requirements, ensuring that every student feels supported and engaged. Through this experience, I developed strong communication and planning skills, and I’ve become confident in identifying what each learner needs to succeed. My time at Oaktree has given me a solid foundation in effective, patient, and adaptable teaching, I know what I’m doing and I’m committed to helping every student reach their potential.

I offer A-level tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. I have experience teaching both students with special educational needs and mainstream learners, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to individual learning styles and goals. My teaching approach is simple, structured, and focused, I aim to make complex topics easy to understand while reinforcing key exam techniques. Lessons typically involve a balance between mastering core content and practising exam-style questions to build both confidence and precision. Each session is adapted to the student’s current level and target grade, whether they’re aiming to solidify understanding or achieve top marks. Lessons usually last one hour, but can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and focus areas.
