About Disha
Hello! I’m an English tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics with a focus on English Literature. I am passionate about reading, storytelling, and creative writing, and I love sharing this passion with my students. My lessons focus on improving reading comprehension, essay writing, literary analysis, and vocabulary through exciting texts and imaginative tasks. I work with teens, college students, and aspiring writers, tailoring each session to their interests and goals. Together, we explore literature, discuss ideas, and develop critical thinking skills. I incorporate creative exercises, writing prompts, and engaging reading materials to make learning dynamic and enjoyable. My approach encourages students to think deeply, express themselves confidently, and find their own voice in English. Lessons are interactive, lively, and designed to build both skill and confidence. I provide guidance, feedback, and strategies to help students excel academically and creatively. Learning English is more than just grammar and vocabulary—it’s about unlocking your imagination and expressing yourself. I aim to make every session inspiring, empowering, and fun, helping students grow into confident, thoughtful, and skilled communicators.

My English teaching approach is interactive, lively, and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on helping students communicate confidently through role-playing real-life scenarios, acting scripts, and conversation exercises. Lessons emphasize voice modulation, expression, and confident delivery to make speaking engaging and natural.
I also cover reading, writing, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and grammar in practical ways. Students learn techniques to present ideas clearly, perform scripts effectively, and adapt their language for professional or academic settings. I use exercises that develop both fluency and accuracy, while keeping lessons fun and dynamic.
Each session is student-centered, allowing learners to focus on what matters most to them. I provide guidance, feedback, and strategies to help students excel in exams, interviews, presentations, or everyday communication. Activities include debates, storytelling, speech practice, and improvisation, creating a lively learning environment.
By combining practical skills with creative exercises, I help students gain confidence, mastery, and a love for the English language. Together, we make learning English engaging, meaningful, and highly effective.
