About Carissa

I am currently studying molecular and cellular biology with a minor in foreign language. My expertise lies in teaching foreign languages since I am fluent in six languages. It’s important for me to tailor my teaching to better suit the learning style of my students. Many students have shown dramatic improvement in their confidence and love towards learning.

About the lesson

Personalized teaching. Everyone has a more effective way of learning. We will set goals but work at a steady pace. Homework is optional but recommended. The overall goal is to provide the best individualized learning, improve focus, confidence, and self-esteem. I have been tutoring for 8 years.

Besides her great language skills, Carissa is a very patient teacher and passionate about her work. Anyone who gets her lessons will be very lucky and impressed with how quickly they learn. We used to work together as well as study together at some point, and that is how I was able to learn from her. Thank you, Carissa, for your awesomeness!
