About Giada

Ciao! I am a native Italian who moved to the UK in 2019 to study Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham. In Italy, I graduated from high school with honours, taking A level equivalents in Italian, English, Spanish and German. Thanks to my success, I had the opportunity to tutor English, Spanish and German to Italian students from an early age and help them improve. Since when I moved to the UK, I have lived with many Spanish speakers and started preparing for the DELE C1 exam, confirming my Spanish proficiency level. I have been tutoring Spanish for five years now, continuously developing my teaching skills and preparing the ground for my career aspiration as a teacher. I thoroughly enjoy teaching because it allows me to share my passion for this language and culture and help anyone who wants to learn it. If you also want to learn Spanish, I would be glad to take you as a student and help you reach your goals!

About the lesson

I teach Spanish to kids and adults at any level, both in person and online. During the first class, we will chat about your goals and your expectations of me, and I will talk you through what I can offer you. After that, I will then design a programme and adapt each lesson to tailor your needs. I strive to engage the student and make the best of their time through dynamic and interactive classes. After each session, I give them the material on which we worked so that they can look at it in their own time and study. Whether you just want to know the basics of Spanish or you want to practise your conversational skills and become fluent, I am happy to welcome you on board!

Giada has been giving Italian classes to my daughter for a year now, and I cannot be more grateful for her improvement. Other than being very flexible and supportive, Giada has been very professional in giving out the class material after every lesson, so that my daughter could always go back and revise it whenever she wanted. I thoroughly recommend her!

Giada has helped me to improve my Italian by sharing one of our passions, reading. Finding a book in common in Italian was easy, then we spent hours reading out loud focusing in my pronunciation and my understanding of the words by translating what we read. She helped me a lot to broaden my Italian vocabulary, and also to construct better sentences. I truly recommend her for her teaching skills and her adaptability to my circumstances and my needs.

Giada was my English teacher for a couple of months and honestly, she was much better than I expected. She has a lot of patience and she's very clear to explain things. That's why it was really easy to understand everything. I'm really grateful.
