About Jay
I am a British AI consultant and educator. I hold a PhD in machine learning and genetics, a master’s degree in medical genetics, and have taught at Oxford Brookes University. I currently serve as the AI researcher at Spiber Inc. and as a machine learning engineer for another private tech company. I have also worked as an AI consultant for a neuropsychiatry research lab at Stanford University, where I developed and benchmarked advanced AI models. My previous roles include biomedical AI architect at VST and biological software developer at Molcure. I also have hands-on experience building generative AI systems, including diffusion models and optimizing large language models. I offer private, one-on-one crash courses in AI tailored to professionals, researchers, motivated students, and families seeking high-quality instruction in English.
